Primary Functions

- Apply soft-tissue techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and therapeutic massage to address muscular dysfunction, scar tissue, and fascial restrictions.
- Prescribe and teach progressive therapeutic exercise programs, corrective strengthening, flexibility routines, and functional movement retraining for home and in-clinic rehabilitation tailored to injury, sport, or occupational demands.
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging studies (X-ray, MRI, CT when indicated) to support clinical decision-making, identify contraindications to manipulation, and communicate findings to patients and referring providers.
