Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions

- Receive, unpack, price and label incoming shipments; verify shipments against invoices and promptly report discrepancies; replenish sales floor stock to maintain proper size and style availability.
- Manage fitting room operations — maintain cleanliness and organization, monitor occupancy, provide timely assistance, and return unsold items to proper displays to optimize customer flow and store presentation.
- Deliver prompt, courteous resolution to customer inquiries and complaints, escalating issues to management as necessary while preserving customer satisfaction and protecting company reputation.
- Support omnichannel retailing by assisting with in-store pickup, ship-from-store, curbside pickup, and returns for online orders, ensuring a seamless customer experience across channels.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and assist with annual physical inventories; identify and report shrink, damaged goods, and discrepancies to minimize loss and improve inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all loss prevention policies and procedures, including monitoring suspicious behavior, following cash handling controls, and maintaining secure storage and tagging of high-value items.
- Open and close the store according to company procedures, including completing daily checklists, securing merchandise, performing cash reconciliation, and preparing the store for the next business day.
- Provide product styling sessions and wardrobe consultations for customers, building long-term client relationships and maintaining a clienteling CRM (collecting contact info and purchase preferences) to drive repeat business.
