Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive, role-based compliance curriculum that aligns with corporate policies, regulatory obligations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, AML, SOX, FINRA, FCPA, OFAC, PCI-DSS), and risk priorities, ensuring that content is current, accurate, and auditable.
- Lead end-to-end compliance training programs from needs assessment through curriculum design, development, testing, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement using instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Develop and maintain interactive e-learning modules, microlearning assets, job aids, scenario-based exercises, and simulations using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, or equivalent to maximize retention and practical application.
- Manage Learning Management System (LMS) administration tasks including course configuration, enrollment workflows, compliance assignment automation, reporting, SCORM/xAPI compliance, and integrations with HRIS or SSO.
- Partner with Compliance Officers, Legal, HR, Data Privacy, and business unit leaders to translate regulatory changes and audit findings into timely, targeted training interventions and communications.
- Create and implement competency frameworks and assessment strategies (pre/post tests, quizzes, scenario assessments) to measure knowledge, skills, and behavioral change tied to compliance risk reduction.
- Establish and report on learning metrics and compliance KPIs (completion rates, knowledge retention, assessment pass rates, remediation completion, training impact on incidents) using dashboards and analytics tools to demonstrate program effectiveness to senior stakeholders.
- Execute annual training plans and rapid-response training for urgent regulatory updates, enforcement actions, or internal incidents requiring immediate awareness and remediation.
- Conduct live virtual training sessions, in-person workshops, brown-bag sessions, and train-the-trainer programs for global audiences, tailoring delivery to role, region, and regulatory context.
- Design and manage targeted onboarding and annual refresher programs to ensure new hires and existing staff consistently meet mandatory compliance training requirements.
- Develop case studies, role-play scenarios, and real-world examples that illustrate regulatory risks and expected behaviors to increase learner engagement and practical application.
- Oversee remediation and disciplinary training paths, working with HR and Compliance to ensure learners who fail to meet standards receive appropriate coaching, retraining, and documentation.
- Maintain a robust content governance process including version control, review cycles, subject-matter expert approvals, and recordkeeping to support audits and regulatory examinations.
- Lead cross-functional working groups and stakeholder committees to prioritize training needs, align on messaging, and coordinate launch plans for high-impact compliance initiatives.
- Produce executive-ready briefings, training impact reports, and regulatory readiness summaries that clearly communicate training outcomes and outstanding risks to senior leadership and internal audit.
- Perform root-cause analyses of compliance incidents to identify gaps in knowledge or process, and create targeted learning solutions to remediate those root causes.
- Manage vendor relationships for external training providers, multimedia developers, and LMS partners, negotiating scopes of work and ensuring deliverables meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Ensure accessibility, localization, and cultural adaptation of compliance training for global audiences, coordinating translation and region-specific content where regulations vary.
- Maintain and expand a library of up-to-date compliance training resources, FAQs, policies, and self-service tools that support just-in-time learning and manager-led coaching.
- Ensure all training materials comply with privacy and data protection requirements, avoiding the use of personal or sensitive data without appropriate controls and approvals.
- Facilitate quality assurance and pilot testing of new learning content, collecting learner feedback and performance data to iterate quickly and improve completion and retention rates.
- Champion a culture of ethics and compliance through visible leadership, ongoing communications campaigns, employee recognition for compliant behavior, and partnership with ethics & compliance programs.

Educational Background
Minimum Education:
