- Manage litigation and disputes by partnering with external litigators, setting strategy, controlling litigation budgets, overseeing e-discovery and settlement negotiations, and keeping executives informed of legal exposure and resolution options.
- Advise on employment and HR-related legal matters including senior executive contracts, termination and redundancy processes, restrictive covenants, secondments and cross-border mobility, partnering with HR to limit risk and support operational decisions.

- Establish and maintain an organized contract lifecycle management (CLM) process and repository: implement templates, approval workflows, obligations tracking and reporting to reduce legal bottlenecks and surface compliance issues proactively.
- Provide proactive legal support to commercial teams during pricing, sales negotiations and RFP responses to enable revenue generation while minimizing legal and contractual risk.
- Manage corporate secretarial tasks for subsidiaries and branches: coordinate annual meetings, maintain statutory filings, manage director appointments and resignations, and ensure local legal compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
- Support capital markets and securities activities when relevant: advise on securities law implications, draft disclosure documents, shareholder agreements, and support investor and financing transactions.
- Drive internal legal training and awareness programs for non-legal staff covering contracts fundamentals, compliance obligations, data privacy, and anti-corruption to reduce organizational risk and improve self-service legal hygiene.
- Implement metrics and KPIs for the legal function (e.g., contract turnaround time, litigation spend, compliance incidents) and report results to the executive team to demonstrate impact and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate internal investigations into alleged misconduct, lead fact-finding, advise on remedial actions and disciplinary measures, and ensure investigations are conducted fairly, confidentially and in compliance with laws.
