  • Manage program financials and commercial outcomes, including budget ownership, forecasting, cost control, resource utilization, and P&L awareness to deliver programs within agreed financial constraints.
  • Proactively identify, assess and mitigate delivery risks and issues through structured risk registers, contingency planning, and timely stakeholder communication to minimize impact on schedule and scope.
  • Establish, measure and continuously improve program KPIs and SLAs (e.g., delivery velocity, cycle time, defect rate, on-time delivery) and produce regular status reports and dashboards for executives and steering committees.
  • Facilitate and run Agile ceremonies (PI planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) and coach teams and stakeholders in agile ways of working to increase throughput and delivery predictability.
  • Define and enforce change control processes and governance, managing scope adjustments, requirements changes, and formal acceptance criteria to protect delivery quality and stakeholder expectations.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor and third-party relationships, overseeing contracts, SOWs, performance SLAs, and integration points to ensure external contributions meet program standards.

  • Translate business requirements into clear delivery objectives, acceptance criteria and engineering-ready tasks in collaboration with product managers and business analysts.
  • Champion quality assurance best practices, partner with QA and testing teams to design and monitor test strategies, automation plans, and defect resolution workflows.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and expectations through structured communications, steering committee preparation, executive updates, and transparent escalation of trade-offs and decisions.
  • Drive cross-program dependency management and resource planning to avoid bottlenecks, facilitate capacity planning, and prioritize work across competing initiatives.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery frameworks, tooling (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project), templates and processes to improve predictability and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security and audit requirements for delivery workstreams, collaborating with legal, security and compliance teams on controls and documentation.
  • Mentor, coach and develop delivery managers and project leads, building a high-performing delivery organization and promoting best practices in project management, stakeholder influence and team leadership.
  • Implement and monitor program level metrics for customer satisfaction, operational stability and business value realization post-delivery, ensuring a tight feedback loop between delivery and product value.
  • Prepare and present executive-level program reviews, risk heatmaps, and recovery plans when programs deviate from plan, securing resources and senior sponsorship to realign outcomes.
  • Drive onboarding and change management for new or upgraded solutions, working with business stakeholders to define training, documentation and adoption plans that minimize disruption and increase ROI.
  • Oversee configuration, environment and release governance across multiple technology stacks to ensure environments are properly provisioned, documented and secure for development and production releases.
