Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead the development and execution of a multi-year strategic plan for the division, translating company vision into measurable goals, annual operating plans, and aligned KPIs that drive revenue, margin, and market share growth.
  • Own full P&L accountability for the division, developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost controls while ensuring targets for revenue, gross margin, and operating income are met or exceeded.
  • Build, mentor and retain a high-performing leadership team by defining organizational structure, recruiting senior talent, setting performance expectations, and executing succession planning to ensure continuity of leadership.
  • Drive sales and commercial strategy by partnering with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to create go-to-market plans, pricing strategies, and sales enablement programs that accelerate pipeline and conversion.
  • Design and implement scalable operational processes and governance frameworks that improve productivity, reduce cycle times, and increase operational predictability across the division.
  • Partner with Finance to analyze performance trends, conduct scenario planning, and present clear, data-driven recommendations to executive leadership and the board for strategic investments or corrective actions.
  • Lead M&A activity and strategic partnerships for the division, including target evaluation, due diligence support, integration planning, and post-acquisition value capture.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with regulatory, legal, and industry standards by implementing risk management controls, audit readiness practices, and a culture of ethical behavior and accountability.
  • Champion customer-centric strategies by synthesizing customer feedback and market intelligence into product roadmaps, service delivery improvements, and commercial offerings that increase retention and lifetime value.
  • Oversee major transformation programs such as digitalization, cost optimization, and organizational redesign, setting milestones, mobilizing resources, and tracking benefits realization.
  • Establish and monitor divisional KPIs and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into sales performance, operational metrics, headcount efficiencies, and financial health.
  • Negotiate high-value vendor and supplier agreements, ensuring favorable commercial terms, service levels, and contractual protections that mitigate risk and optimize total cost of ownership.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar capital and operational budgets, prioritize investments based on ROI, and ensure disciplined capital allocation across strategic initiatives.
  • Represent the division to external stakeholders including customers, investors, regulators, and industry groups, building credibility for the company and advancing brand and business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional planning and release cycles with product, technology, and operations to deliver on-time initiatives with minimal disruption to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence programs (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent) to eliminate waste, raise quality standards, and improve process throughput.
  • Develop and oversee talent development programs, including leadership training, performance coaching, and competency frameworks to accelerate employee growth and engagement.
  • Identify and de-risk strategic threats including competitor moves, market shifts, and regulatory changes by maintaining robust competitive and market intelligence processes.
  • Lead crisis response and business continuity planning for the division, including incident management, communication plans, and rapid recovery protocols to protect people, assets and reputation.
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture that values diversity, innovation, transparency, and accountability while aligning employee incentives to business outcomes.
  • Create and manage incentive programs and compensation structures that align employee objectives with divisional goals and retain top performers.
  • Drive pricing governance and margin improvement initiatives by analyzing cost drivers, yield management, and value-based pricing opportunities to maximize profitability.
  • Oversee quality assurance and customer service standards, implementing corrective action plans when necessary to maintain service excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder briefings and board-level reporting, summarizing performance, key risks, strategic priorities, and resource requirements in clear, executive-ready formats.

Secondary Functions

  • Support cross-divisional initiatives such as enterprise-wide digital transformation, sustainability programs, or shared services optimization by representing divisional needs and facilitating implementation.
  • Provide ad-hoc executive-level analyses to support M&A diligence, market-entry assessments, or strategic pivots requested by the CEO or Board.
  • Act as a mentor and sponsor for high-potential leaders, participating in talent review forums and driving internal mobility to accelerate career progression.
  • Contribute to the company’s long-term strategic planning cycle, offering insights on market trends, disruptive technologies, and regulatory landscapes that affect future business models.
  • Coordinate with HR, Legal, and Compliance to maintain up-to-date policies, employment practices, and contractual frameworks within the division.
  • Participate in industry associations, conferences, and thought leadership activities to raise the division’s profile, attract talent, and inform strategic direction.
  • Oversee vendor performance reviews and cost-benefit analyses to continually optimize outsourced functions and third-party services.
  • Support sales escalations and executive sponsorship for key customer relationships, personally engaging to resolve high-impact contract or service issues.
  • Lead pilot programs and innovation initiatives to test new products, channels, or operational models, rapidly iterating based on outcomes and learnings.
  • Maintain a data-driven culture by sponsoring analytics capability development, ensuring teams have access to the right metrics and tools to support decision-making.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
