Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design, develop, and deploy innovative and interactive e-learning courses, simulations, and learning objects using authoring tools like Articulate Storyline 360 and Adobe Captivate.
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to conduct in-depth needs analyses to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
  • Translate complex technical or business concepts into clear, engaging, and easily digestible content tailored for a diverse global audience.
  • Author compelling course content, including scripts, storyboards, and narration, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM).
  • Develop comprehensive blended learning solutions that may include e-learning, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), job aids, and other performance support materials.
  • Create visually appealing and effective multimedia elements, including graphics, animations, audio, and video, to enhance the learning experience.
  • Design and build valid and reliable assessments, quizzes, and knowledge checks to measure learner comprehension and skill acquisition.
  • Apply principles of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design to create intuitive and accessible learning environments.
  • Ensure all learning content is compliant with accessibility standards, such as WCAG 2.1, to support an inclusive learning culture.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle for multiple learning projects simultaneously, from scoping and planning to execution and delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Pilot and test learning solutions with target audiences to gather feedback and iterate on designs for maximum effectiveness.
  • Upload, test, and manage courseware within the company's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring proper functionality and tracking.
  • Develop and maintain design templates, standards, and style guides to ensure consistency and quality across all learning materials.
  • Create and maintain a library of reusable learning assets and templates to improve the efficiency of the design and development process.

Secondary Functions

  • Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the e-learning and instructional design industry.
  • Evaluate the business impact and effectiveness of training programs by analyzing learner data, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to learners and facilitators regarding e-learning content and the LMS.
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course assignments, user management, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the broader L&D team to contribute to the overall learning strategy and curriculum planning.
  • Create and facilitate "train-the-trainer" sessions for virtual or in-person instructors to ensure effective delivery of blended learning programs.
  • Support ad-hoc content updates and maintenance for the existing library of e-learning courses.
  • Participate in an agile development process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive team efficiency.

  • Multimedia Production: Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Audition) or similar tools for creating graphics, videos, and audio assets.
  • LMS Administration: Experience with managing and deploying content in Learning Management Systems (e.g., Cornerstone OnDemand, Docebo, Moodle, Workday Learning).
  • Instructional Design Models: Deep understanding and practical application of models like ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick's Levels of Evaluation.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
