Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Plan, organize, and execute a full calendar of online and offline e-sports tournaments, leagues, and community events from initial concept to post-event analysis.
  • Serve as the primary, day-to-day point of contact for all players, teams, and talent, managing communications, scheduling, and ensuring a positive, professional tournament experience.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce comprehensive tournament rulesets and codes of conduct to ensure competitive integrity and a fair play environment.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of live events, including venue selection, travel arrangements, accommodation, and on-site scheduling for players and staff.
  • Collaborate directly with the broadcast and production teams to ensure seamless integration of gameplay, commentary, and on-screen content during live streams.
  • Act as the lead tournament administrator during competitions, overseeing match progression, resolving player disputes浓度, and making decisive rulings in real-time.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with game publishers to ensure compliance with competitive licenses, patch schedules, and community guidelines.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, tracking all expenses and processing invoices to ensure events are delivered within financial parameters.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of a team of volunteer or part-time tournament administrators and moderators.
  • Liaise with the marketing and social media teams to create and execute promotional campaigns that drive tournament viewership and participation.
  • Manage the distribution ê±´ê°• of prize money and other rewards, ensuring timely and accurate payment to winning players and teams.
  • Create detailed post-event reports, analyzing key performance indicators such as viewership, player satisfaction, and community engagement to inform future strategies.

Secondary Functions

  • Actively manage and cultivate our community on platforms like Discord and Twitter, fostering a positive and engaging environment for our player base.
  • Collaborate with the partnership team to ensure all sponsor deliverables and activations are flawlessly executed during competitive events.
  • Maintain and manage an inventory of gaming hardware, peripherals, and other equipment required for both online and LAN events.
  • Stay consistently informed about the evolving competitive landscape, patch notes, and meta-changes for our core e-sports titles.
  • Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans for the growth and expansion of the organization's e-sports program.
  • Support the content team by identifying compelling player stories, rivalries, and gameplay moments that can be developed into engaging content.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from players and the community to recommend improvements for future tournaments and competitive structures.
  • Handle all administrative tasks related to player registration, team roster submissions, and eligibility verification.
  • Contribute to the design and branding of tournament assets, including overlays, websites, and promotional materials.
  • Research and identify new gaming titles and communities that present opportunities for future competitive programming.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Tournament Platform Proficiency: In-depth experience running events on platforms such as Battlefy, Toornament, or similar proprietary systems.
  • Discord & Community Tools: Advanced skills in Discord server setup and management, including bot integration and role administration.
  • Streaming Software Knowledge: Familiarity with broadcast software like OBS or Streamlabs for observing matches and supporting productions.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects and timelines using tools like Asana, Trello, or Monday.com.
  • Budget Management: Experience tracking expenses, managing spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), and handling basic financial reporting for events.
  • Game-Specific Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of the rules, gameplay, and competitive ecosystem of at least one major e-sports title (e.g., VALORANT, League of Legends, Apex Legends, etc.).

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
