Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Dedicate a significant and structured daily schedule to individual practice, including mechanical drills, aim training, and mastering game-specific techniques to achieve and maintain elite skill levels.
  • Actively participate in all mandatory team practices, scrimmages, and strategic VOD review sessions to develop and refine team-wide strategies, communication, and synergy.
  • Maintain peak physical and mental condition through a disciplined regimen of exercise, nutrition, and mental wellness practices as guided by team support staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the coaching staff and analysts to identify personal and team-wide weaknesses, develop actionable improvement plans, and implement feedback to continuously enhance gameplay.
  • Compete at the highest level in online and offline (LAN) tournaments, consistently striving for championship titles and top placings.
  • Master the evolving game meta by staying current with all patch notes, balance changes, and emerging strategies from other professional teams globally.
  • Develop and execute complex in-game strategies, demonstrating superior game sense, decision-making, and adaptability under pressure.
  • Provide clear, concise, and effective in-game communication (shot-calling) to ensure flawless team coordination during high-pressure competitive moments.
  • Analyze personal and opponent gameplay footage (VODs) to identify patterns, exploit weaknesses, and prepare comprehensive counter-strategies.
  • Adhere strictly to all league and tournament rules, regulations, and codes of conduct, upholding the principles of fair play and sportsmanship at all times.
  • Manage and maintain all personal and team-provided gaming equipment, ensuring peripherals and systems are in optimal condition for competition.
  • Travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, for boot camps, tournaments, media days, and other official team engagements, often on short notice.

Secondary Functions

  • Serve as a professional and positive ambassador for the organization during all public appearances, including media interviews, press conferences, and fan meet-and-greets.
  • Fulfill all contractual obligations with team sponsors, including participating in promotional campaigns, advertising shoots, product showcases, and creating sponsored content that aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Create engaging, high-quality content for personal and team-branded social media channels (e.g., Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok) to build a personal brand and grow the organization's fanbase.
  • Engage actively and positively with the online community through live streams, social media interactions, and community platforms (like Discord) to cultivate a loyal and supportive following.
  • Participate in media training to effectively and professionally communicate with the press, on-air talent, and the public in a manner that reflects positively on the team and its partners.
  • Contribute to team-building activities and organizational events designed to strengthen team cohesion, morale, and internal culture.
  • Provide detailed feedback to management and coaching staff on team dynamics, potential issues, and strategic direction.
  • Uphold a professional and non-toxic online presence across all personal gaming and social media accounts, serving as a positive role model for aspiring players and fans.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding proprietary team strategies, internal discussions, and other sensitive organizational information.
  • Assist in scouting or evaluating up-and-coming talent when requested by the coaching or management staff.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrable mastery of advanced game mechanics, movement, and character/agent/hero-specific abilities.
  • Exceptional raw mechanical skill, including precision aiming, crosshair placement, and rapid reaction time.
  • Deep, strategic understanding of the current meta, map control, objective-based play, and in-game economy management.
  • Proven experience in analyzing gameplay through VOD review to identify micro and macro-level mistakes and opportunities.
