Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Manage the entire lifecycle of product listings on major e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, eBay, etc.), including creation, maintenance, and strategic optimization of titles, descriptions, images, and keywords to maximize visibility and conversion rates.
- Develop, execute, and continuously optimize paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP) to increase traffic, improve ROAS, and achieve sales targets.
- Conduct comprehensive sales and performance analysis, utilizing platform-specific analytics and third-party tools to generate actionable insights and deliver regular performance reports to leadership.
- Oversee and manage inventory levels across all online channels, collaborating with supply chain teams to forecast demand, prevent stockouts, and manage excess inventory.
- Implement and refine pricing strategies, constantly monitoring competitor pricing, market trends, and promotional opportunities to maintain a competitive edge and protect profit margins.
- Proactively manage and enhance online brand reputation by monitoring customer reviews and questions, providing timely responses, and leveraging feedback to improve products and listings.
- Drive the creation and implementation of A+ Content, Enhanced Brand Content (EBC), and brand stores to elevate the customer experience and improve brand storytelling.
- Execute promotional strategies, including setting up coupons, sales events, and lightning deals, to drive traffic and boost sales velocity during key periods.
- Stay current with all marketplace policy changes, industry trends, and algorithm updates to ensure compliance and identify new growth opportunities or potential risks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of marketplace issues, including suppressed listings, account health warnings, and fulfillment problems, by opening and managing cases with platform support teams.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for new product launches on e-commerce channels, coordinating with marketing, product, and operations teams for a seamless and impactful release.
- Perform in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to inform SEO strategies, content development, and advertising campaign targeting.
- Manage and grow our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channel, typically on a Shopify or BigCommerce platform, by optimizing the user experience, managing apps, and driving targeted traffic.
- Analyze customer return data and feedback to identify product quality issues or listing inaccuracies, working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth order processing, accurate shipping, and adherence to marketplace fulfillment standards (e.g., FBA, SFP).
Secondary Functions

Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- Marketplace Platform Proficiency: Deep, hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central is essential. Familiarity with other platforms like Walmart Marketplace, eBay, or Target+ is highly desirable.
- E-commerce Platform Management: Proven ability to manage and optimize D2C storefronts using platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or Magento.
- Data Analysis & Excel: Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Formulas) or Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
- PPC Advertising: In-depth knowledge of managing and optimizing on-platform advertising campaigns, particularly Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display).
- E-commerce SEO: Solid understanding of search engine optimization principles as they apply to online marketplaces, including keyword research, listing optimization, and ranking factors.
