Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Spearhead the development and meticulous management of the comprehensive editorial calendar, planning content themes, article pipelines, and publication schedules to align with marketing campaigns and industry trends.

  • Implement and enforce a rigorous fact-checking and proofreading process for all content prior to publication to maintain the highest standards of quality and credibility.
  • Collaborate closely with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to source and create visually engaging assets that enhance the reader's experience and complement the written content.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content distribution strategy, leveraging email newsletters, social media channels, and partner networks to maximize reach and engagement for each new issue.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and apply on-page and technical SEO best practices to all articles to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic.
  • Analyze content performance using Google Analytics, email marketing platform metrics, and social media insights to generate regular reports and inform future content strategy.
  • Manage the content publication process using our Content Management System (CMS), ensuring proper formatting, metadata, and a seamless user experience on both desktop and mobile devices.
  • Act as the primary gatekeeper for the brand's voice and tone, ensuring consistency across all published materials, from headlines and body copy to captions and calls-to-action.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, competitor content strategies, and emerging digital publishing technologies to continuously innovate and improve our e-zine.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with industry influencers, partners, and guest contributors to expand our content's reach and bring fresh perspectives to our audience.
  • Plan and execute special content packages, themed issues, and multimedia projects that create buzz and drive significant audience engagement.
