Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conduct comprehensive end-to-end analysis of current business processes using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and critical bottlenecks.
  • Develop and champion data-driven, strategic roadmaps for process improvement initiatives that align with overarching business objectives and deliver measurable ROI.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of multiple efficiency projects simultaneously, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Act as a key change agent and ambassador for a continuous improvement culture, actively promoting and embedding principles of operational excellence throughout the organization.
  • Utilize advanced statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to perform root cause analysis, validate hypotheses, and quantify the financial and operational impact of proposed solutions.
  • Provide expert-level coaching, training, and mentorship to business units and team members on process improvement tools, methodologies, and problem-solving frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, finance, and other departments to evaluate and integrate technology solutions, including automation (RPA) and new software, to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and training materials to support the successful adoption of new workflows.
  • Perform in-depth cost-benefit analyses and ROI calculations for potential improvement projects to inform strategic investment decisions and prioritize initiatives with the highest impact.
  • Benchmark the organization's processes, performance, and capabilities against industry best practices and key competitors to identify strategic gaps and opportunities for gaining a competitive edge.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and audits to assess the success of projects, capture critical lessons learned, and identify subsequent opportunities for optimization.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on process optimization and operational efficiency, providing consultative support and strategic guidance to leaders across the business.
  • Diagnose complex operational challenges by gathering and synthesizing quantitative data (e.g., system logs, performance metrics) and qualitative data (e.g., interviews, observation).
  • Define clear project charters that outline the problem statement, goals, scope, and success criteria for each efficiency initiative, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute detailed change management plans to minimize resistance, ensure smooth transitions, and drive widespread user adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Evaluate existing resource allocation and capacity models, providing recommendations for workforce optimization and improved productivity across teams and departments.
  • Partner with supply chain and procurement teams to analyze vendor performance and identify opportunities to streamline logistics, reduce lead times, and optimize inventory management.
  • Conduct time-and-motion studies and workflow simulations to precisely measure task durations and identify opportunities to eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Facilitate the resolution of complex, cross-functional problems by guiding teams through structured problem-solving methodologies and ensuring accountability for action items.
