Primary Functions

Accurately apply and provide comprehensive patient instructions for ambulatory cardiac monitoring devices, including 24/48-hour Holter monitors and 30-day cardiac event recorders.
Edit and process EKG tracings, identifying and highlighting critical or abnormal rhythms for immediate review by a cardiologist or attending physician.
Respond effectively to STAT EKG requests and emergency situations such as Code Blue, quickly performing high-quality electrocardiograms in high-pressure environments.
Meticulously document all patient procedures, observations, and EKG data within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring all records are complete, accurate, and timely.
Educate patients on the purpose of the EKG test, what to expect during the procedure, and any necessary follow-up related to ambulatory monitoring.
