Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Design, develop, and execute a comprehensive, data-driven employee wellness strategy that aligns with organizational goals and encompasses physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being.
- Plan, organize, and promote a diverse calendar of wellness events, including webinars, workshops, fitness challenges, health fairs, and mental health awareness campaigns.
- Manage relationships with external wellness vendors, including Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), mental health solution providers, fitness platforms, and financial wellness partners, ensuring high-quality service and value.
- Develop and execute multi-channel communication plans to effectively market wellness programs and resources, increasing awareness and driving employee participation across a diverse, and often remote, workforce.
- Conduct regular needs assessments, employee surveys, and focus groups to gather quantitative and qualitative feedback, identifying key wellness priorities and interests.
- Analyze program participation data, engagement metrics, and health outcomes to measure the effectiveness and ROI of wellness initiatives, providing regular, insightful reports to leadership.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert and trusted, confidential resource for employees and managers on all matters related to health and well-being.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Benefits, and DE&I teams to ensure wellness programs are inclusive, accessible, and seamlessly integrated with broader people strategies.
- Develop and manage the annual wellness program budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize impact and deliver value.
- Research and stay current on emerging trends, scientific research, and new technologies in corporate wellness to continuously innovate and enhance our program offerings.
- Lead and support a network of internal wellness champions or committee members to help drive engagement and foster a grassroots culture of health.
- Create and curate engaging educational content, such as intranet articles, newsletters, videos, and presentations on a variety of health topics like stress management, nutrition, and mindfulness.
- Partner with leadership to champion a culture of well-being from the top down, promoting work-life balance and supportive management practices.
- Ensure all wellness programs, communications, and data handling comply with relevant legal requirements, including HIPAA, GINA, and ADA.
- Administer and optimize the company's wellness technology platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience for all employees.
- Evaluate the success of individual programs and the overall strategy, making data-informed recommendations for continuous improvement and future programming.
- Facilitate group learning sessions and workshops, both virtually and in-person, on various well-being topics to empower employees with practical skills.
- Integrate wellness initiatives with company-wide events and recognition programs to create a cohesive and positive employee experience.
- Act as a key partner in crisis management situations, helping to deploy resources and support employee mental health and resilience.
