Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design and execute comprehensive, individualized job search strategies for a diverse caseload of clients, encompassing everything from initial career exploration and skills assessment to final salary negotiation.
  • Conduct in-depth one-on-one coaching sessions to provide expert guidance on resume and cover letter optimization, personal branding, and digital presence, particularly on platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Develop and facilitate engaging workshops and training seminars on critical job readiness topics, including advanced interview techniques, effective networking strategies, and navigating Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Perform detailed labor market analysis to identify emerging industry trends, high-demand occupations, and key employer partners, providing clients with actionable intelligence to guide their career decisions.
  • Proactively build and maintain a robust network of employer relationships, community organizations, and industry contacts to create a pipeline of exclusive job opportunities and referral pathways for clients.
  • Provide expert consultation to individuals facing career transitions, including upskilling/reskilling recommendations, and create personalized career development plans to address skill gaps.
  • Masterfully craft and edit professional documents, including executive resumes, curricula vitae (CVs), cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, ensuring they are keyword-optimized and tailored to specific job targets.
  • Prepare candidates for complex multi-stage interview processes through rigorous mock interviews, providing constructive, detailed feedback on communication style, STAR method implementation, and overall performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and manage large-scale career events, such as virtual and in-person job fairs, employer information sessions, and networking mixers.
  • Track and analyze client progress and employment outcomes using CRM or case management systems, generating regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) like placement rates, time-to-hire, and wage growth.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in hiring, advising both job seekers and employers on best practices for creating an inclusive recruitment process.
  • Guide clients in building a powerful personal brand that consistently communicates their value proposition across all professional platforms and interactions.
  • Research and identify appropriate educational and vocational training programs to help clients acquire in-demand credentials and bridge critical skill gaps.
  • Provide outplacement services and support for employees affected by layoffs or organizational restructuring, helping them navigate their transition with confidence and a clear action plan.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive resource library of career development tools, articles, assessment instruments, and industry-specific job search guides.
  • Evaluate client barriers to employment, such as transportation, childcare, or technology access, and connect them with appropriate community resources and support services.
  • Advise organizational leaders on talent acquisition and retention strategies, leveraging insights from the job market to help them become an employer of choice.
  • Stay current with evolving recruitment technologies, AI-powered hiring tools, and social media trends to provide clients with a competitive edge in their job search.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand each client's unique background, skills, career aspirations, and potential challenges.
  • Mediate and support the client-employer relationship during the initial stages of employment to ensure a smooth onboarding process and long-term retention.
  • Customize coaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse populations, including veterans, recent graduates, career changers, and senior-level executives.
  • Assist clients in effectively negotiating job offers by providing research on salary benchmarks, benefits packages, and non-monetary compensation.

Secondary Functions

  • Support ad-hoc data requests and exploratory data analysis to uncover trends in client success and program effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the organization's data strategy and roadmap by identifying new metrics and data points for tracking workforce outcomes.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
