Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Proactively manage a high volume of prospective student inquiries through a multi-channel communication approach, including outbound calls, personalized emails, SMS texting, and virtual meetings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated caseload of applicants, providing consistent, accurate, and timely information about academic programs, admissions requirements, and institutional policies.
  • Conduct in-depth consultative conversations with prospective students to understand their educational background, career aspirations, and personal motivations to effectively match them with suitable programs.
  • Guide applicants meticulously through the entire admissions process, from application submission and document collection to financial aid counseling and final enrollment confirmation.
  • Perform holistic reviews of application files, critically evaluating academic transcripts, personal essays, letters of recommendation, and other supplementary materials to determine admissibility.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of all academic programs, curricula, student services, and financial aid options available at the institution.
  • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (e.g., Salesforce, Slate) to meticulously track all student interactions, manage recruitment pipelines, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Aid office to counsel students on funding options, scholarship opportunities, and the process of completing the FAFSA and other financial aid applications.
  • Plan, promote, and execute engaging recruitment events, both on-campus and virtual, such as open houses, information sessions, webinars, and college fairs, to generate leads and build community.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including high school counselors, community college advisors, and corporate partners, to create robust recruitment pipelines.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of innovative recruitment strategies and marketing campaigns aimed at reaching diverse and qualified student populations.
  • Provide personalized support to admitted students to overcome potential barriers to enrollment, ensuring a smooth transition from applicant to fully enrolled student.
  • Conduct campus tours and individual appointments for prospective students and their families, showcasing the campus facilities, culture, and unique value proposition of the institution.
  • Achieve or exceed established enrollment targets and performance metrics for inquiries, applications, acceptances, and enrolled students within your assigned territory or program.
  • Prepare and present detailed activity reports and data analysis on recruitment funnel metrics to leadership, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices in enrollment management, and competitor activities to ensure the institution maintains a competitive edge.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of recruitment materials, including brochures, website content, email templates, and social media posts, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and a high-touch, personalized experience to every prospective student, reflecting the institution's commitment to student success.
  • Work collaboratively with academic departments and faculty to facilitate connections between prospective students and program-specific advisors or instructors.
  • Follow up with students who have started but not completed their applications, providing encouragement and assistance to help them cross the finish line.
  • Counsel and advise international students on specific application requirements, including transcript evaluations, visa processes, and proof of English proficiency.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
