Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-range entertainment strategy and annual programming calendar that aligns with our brand identity, target demographics, and financial goals.
- Conceptualize, design, and produce a diverse portfolio of original and licensed entertainment offerings, including large-scale stage productions, musical acts, themed events, and ambient entertainment.
- Direct all aspects of talent acquisition, from scouting and auditioning to negotiating complex performance contracts and managing relationships with artists, agents, and production companies.
- Hold full P&L responsibility for the entertainment department, including the development, management, and reconciliation of multi-million dollar operating and capital budgets.
- Provide strong, hands-on leadership to a multi-disciplinary team of managers, technicians, performers, costumers, and support staff, fostering a creative, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
- Oversee all production and technical elements, including lighting, audio, video, staging, and special effects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
- Champion the guest experience by continuously evaluating program quality, gathering feedback, and utilizing data analytics to refine and enhance entertainment offerings.
- Establish and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and standards of operation to ensure efficiency, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the primary liaison between the entertainment department and executive leadership, providing regular, detailed reports on financial performance, project status, and key metrics.
- Drive innovation by staying ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new entertainment concepts to ensure our offerings remain fresh, competitive, and cutting-edge.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales departments to develop effective promotional strategies, content, and campaigns to drive attendance and maximize revenue for all entertainment events.
- Manage and approve all departmental scheduling, payroll, and purchasing to ensure optimal resource allocation and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Personally oversee rehearsals, show installations, and major event load-ins to provide creative direction and ensure the execution matches the artistic vision.
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, including vendors, suppliers, creative partners, and production houses to support all entertainment initiatives.
Secondary Functions
- Lead the long-term planning and procurement of new entertainment technology, systems, and capital equipment.
- Develop and mentor direct reports, creating clear career paths and succession plans within the entertainment department.

Educational Background
Minimum Education:

Experience Requirements
Typical Experience Range:
