Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Act as the primary master of ceremonies (MC) for a wide variety of live and pre-recorded events, including but not limited to, game shows, themed parties, sporting events, and stage productions.
  • Conceptualize, script, and execute engaging on-stage segments, interactive games, and crowd-participation activities tailored to diverse, multi-generational audiences.
  • Serve as the primary on-camera personality for digital content, including promotional videos, social media updates, and live-streamed events, ensuring brand voice consistency.
  • Conduct engaging and well-researched interviews with guests, celebrities, industry experts, and audience members for both live and broadcast segments.
  • Masterfully introduce performers, special guests, and various event segments with prepared scripts and improvised remarks to maintain event flow and energy.
  • Operate and utilize teleprompters, in-ear monitors (IFB), and other broadcast equipment with proficiency during live and recorded productions.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and the creative team to develop compelling content, rundowns, and show concepts from ideation to final execution.
  • Maintain a high-energy, positive, and professional presence at all times, effortlessly managing unexpected delays, technical issues, or changes in the program.
  • Study and memorize scripts, product information, and talking points to deliver flawless and natural-sounding presentations.
  • Drive audience participation and manage crowd energy, ensuring a fun, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
  • Research event topics, guests, and sponsors thoroughly to speak with authority and ask insightful questions.
  • Host and facilitate large-scale, high-profile events and activities, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to the event schedule.

  • Assist in writing and editing scripts, promotional copy, and social media captions to support hosting duties and marketing efforts.
  • Manage and engage with an online community across various social media platforms, building a personal brand and promoting upcoming events or content.
  • Collaborate with the technical team (audio, lighting, video) during rehearsals and live shows to ensure all production cues are hit perfectly.
