Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Spearhead the creative development of new projects, from generating original concepts and formats to evaluating and refining pitches from external writers and creators.
- Oversee the entire production lifecycle, ensuring the project progresses smoothly from pre-production through principal photography, post-production, and final delivery.
- Develop and manage comprehensive production budgets, meticulously tracking expenses and making strategic financial decisions to keep projects within scope and on budget.
- Create and maintain detailed production schedules, timelines, and calendars to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met efficiently.
- Source, negotiate with, and hire key creative and production personnel, including directors, writers, cinematographers, editors, and on-screen talent.
- Lead and manage production teams, fostering a collaborative, positive, and highly productive on-set and office environment.
- Direct and guide on-screen talent during shoots to elicit compelling, authentic, and brand-aligned performances.
- Review and provide constructive creative feedback on scripts, treatments, storyboards, outlines, and rough cuts to ensure the final product aligns with the initial vision.
- Act as the primary liaison between the production team and key stakeholders, including network executives, studio partners, financiers, and distributors.
- Secure all necessary legal rights and clearances for intellectual property, including music, stock footage, archival materials, and talent likenesses.

- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, including agents, managers, vendors, and creative professionals.
