Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Greet and welcome clients warmly upon arrival, confirming their appointment details and guiding them through the check-in process.
- Escort clients to treatment rooms, ensuring their comfort by offering beverages, adjusting lighting, and providing necessary garments.
- Conduct preliminary client intake by preparing consultation forms and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately before the service begins.
- Meticulously prepare and sanitize treatment rooms before and after each client, ensuring all surfaces, tools, and equipment meet or exceed state board and health department standards.
- Assist lead estheticians during complex treatments by handing them sterile instruments, preparing products, and managing equipment settings under direct supervision.
- Apply pre- and post-treatment products, such as cleansers, numbing creams, or soothing masks, as directed by the supervising esthetician.
- Manage the turnover of treatment rooms efficiently to maintain a seamless schedule and minimize client wait times.
- Provide clients with clear and concise post-treatment care instructions, ensuring they understand how to care for their skin at home to maximize results.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource on our retail product lines, assisting clients with their selections and processing retail sales transactions accurately.
- Maintain a pristine and inviting atmosphere in all common areas, including the reception area, waiting lounge, and restrooms.
- Manage laundry services for the spa, ensuring a constant supply of clean linens, towels, and robes are available for treatments.
- Handle client checkout procedures, including processing payments for services and retail products, and scheduling future appointments.
Secondary Functions
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for both professional back-bar products and retail items, notifying management of low stock to prevent shortages.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new inventory shipments, ensuring all products are correctly priced and displayed on retail shelves.
- Perform daily and weekly deep cleaning tasks throughout the facility to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to email and text inquiries, and provide detailed information about our services, pricing, and availability.
- Manage the digital appointment book with high accuracy, scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling client appointments as needed.
- Prepare and maintain client charts and digital records, ensuring all treatment notes, consent forms, and contact information are up-to-date.
- Assist in the creation of content for social media, such as taking sanitized before-and-after photos (with client consent) or preparing treatment stations for video shoots.
- Support marketing initiatives by preparing materials for promotions, assembling gift bags for events, and engaging with clients about current offers.
- Troubleshoot minor issues with spa equipment and technology, reporting any significant malfunctions to management for prompt repair.
- Uphold all HIPAA and privacy standards, ensuring client confidentiality is maintained at all times across all forms of communication and records.

Educational Background
Minimum Education:
