Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively prospect and generate new business leads through a variety of channels, including strategic cold calling, targeted email campaigns, networking at industry events, and leveraging social media platforms.
- Cultivate and nurture long-term, profitable relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact to ensure repeat business and secure referrals.
- Expertly manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to closing the deal, including drafting proposals, negotiating contract terms, and ensuring all agreements are executed to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales quotas and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through strategic planning and relentless execution of sales activities.
- Conduct compelling and informative site inspections and venue tours, effectively showcasing the unique features, value, and benefits of our event spaces to prospective clients.
- Meticulously maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, client communications, and account information within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure data integrity and effective pipeline management.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the event operations and planning teams to ensure a smooth handover of client accounts post-sale, guaranteeing flawless event execution and ultimate client satisfaction.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities, refine sales tactics, and maintain a strong competitive edge.
- Develop and deliver persuasive, customized sales presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition and directly address the specific needs and objectives of potential clients.
- Handle all inbound sales inquiries, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), emails, and phone calls, with a sense of urgency and professionalism, qualifying leads effectively to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Act as a key brand ambassador by representing the company at trade shows, industry functions, and community events to build brand awareness and cultivate a strong network of potential clients and partners.
- Craft creative, detailed event proposals and customized packages that align with client objectives, brand identity, and budgetary constraints while maximizing profitability.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services, such as premium catering, advanced A/V technology, and custom decor, to enhance the client's event and increase revenue per event.
- Actively participate in weekly sales meetings, presenting accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and strategic insights on account progress and market conditions.
- Address and resolve any client concerns or issues with diplomacy and efficiency, turning potential challenges into opportunities to demonstrate our commitment to service excellence.
- Develop an expert-level knowledge of our venue’s capacities, service offerings, pricing strategies, and operational capabilities to confidently answer client questions and overcome objections.
