Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Direct and control all aspects of a major business division or the company's entire operational framework to achieve strategic objectives and revenue goals.
  • Assume full P&L responsibility, driving profitability, managing comprehensive budgets, and ensuring robust financial health and cost-efficiency across all departments.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute the company's long-term strategic plan in collaboration with the CEO and board of directors to ensure sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing senior leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion operational excellence by implementing scalable processes, systems, and infrastructure to support rapid growth and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and client relationships to expand market share.
  • Act as a primary liaison to the board of directors and investors, delivering clear and concise updates on performance, strategic direction, and market conditions.

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range: 15-20+ years of progressive leadership experience.

Preferred: At least 10 years of experience in a senior executive role (e.g., Vice President, General Manager) with direct P&L responsibility exceeding $100M. A demonstrable track record of scaling a business or division, leading successful transformation projects, and building high-performance executive teams is essential. Experience reporting to a CEO and presenting to a board of directors is highly preferred.
