Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Drive the end-to-end design process for new products and features, from initial concept and user research through to high-fidelity mockups and final implementation.
- Translate complex business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints into simple, intuitive, and elegant user experiences.
- Create and deliver a wide range of design artifacts, including user personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect visual designs.
- Plan, conduct, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research, such as user interviews, usability testing, and surveys, to inform and validate design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketers, to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user experience across all touchpoints.
- Champion a user-centered design culture by advocating for user needs and perspectives throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system, including component libraries, style guides, and interaction patterns, to ensure consistency and efficiency across the product suite.
- Articulate and present design concepts, rationale, and research findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, effectively communicating the value of design.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and evolving project requirements in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Define the information architecture and interaction models for complex digital products, ensuring logical, intuitive, and accessible navigation.
- Partner with engineers to provide detailed design specifications and support during the development phase to ensure faithful implementation of the design vision.
