Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Conduct thorough and professional client consultations to assess eye health, natural lash condition, and desired aesthetic to recommend the most suitable lash extension style (e.g., Classic, Hybrid, Volume, Mega Volume).
Skillfully apply a variety of high-quality eyelash extensions, ensuring precise isolation and attachment to create beautiful, customized, and long-lasting lash sets.
Perform advanced lash services, including lash lifts and tints, with meticulous attention to detail to curl and define the client's natural lashes.
Execute lash extension removal procedures using proper techniques and solvents to ensure the health and integrity of the client's natural lashes are preserved.
Educate clients extensively on proper aftercare and home maintenance routines to maximize the longevity of their lash extensions and promote healthy natural lashes.
Maintain an impeccably clean, sanitized, and sterilized workspace, including all tools and equipment, strictly adhering to state board regulations and salon hygiene protocols.
Perform mandatory patch tests to screen for potential allergic reactions to adhesives or other products, prioritizing client safety above all else.
Design and map custom lash looks based on the client's unique eye shape, bone structure, and personal style preferences to enhance their natural features.
Provide an exceptional and comfortable client experience from the moment they arrive to their departure, ensuring they feel valued, relaxed, and satisfied.
Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including lash maps, products used, styling notes, and any observed sensitivities for consistent service quality.
Stay at the forefront of the lash industry by continuously updating skills and knowledge on the latest application techniques, emerging trends, and product innovations.
Listen attentively to all client feedback and concerns, professionally addressing any issues to guarantee complete satisfaction with the final results and overall experience.

Secondary Functions

Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of all lash supplies, including extensions, adhesives, cleansers, and retail products, and assist with placing orders to prevent stock shortages.
Actively participate in the salon's marketing and social media efforts, including taking high-quality before-and-after photos and videos (with client consent) to build a professional portfolio.
Build and nurture a loyal client base through exceptional service, personalized attention, and proactive rebooking and follow-up strategies.
Provide expert recommendations for retail products, such as lash-safe cleansers and growth serums, to support client aftercare and achieve retail sales goals.
Assist with front desk operations as needed, including greeting clients, answering phone calls, managing the appointment book, and processing payments.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall success and reputation of the studio.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

Valid State Cosmetology or Esthetician License is required.
