Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems (rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, condensers) to maintain optimal performance, document findings, and recommend component replacement to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V including distribution panels, motor controls, starters, transformers, lighting systems, and emergency power systems following electrical code and safety procedures.

- Maintain, service, and repair refrigeration and cooling systems including split systems, rooftop units, condensers, evaporator coils, and compressors, and perform refrigerant handling according to EPA regulations.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, belts, bearings, pumps, conveyors, and fans, including alignment, lubrication, and bearing replacement.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams to perform accurate repairs and modifications.
- Operate and maintain building automation systems (BAS) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor HVAC and building system performance, adjust setpoints, and respond to alarms.
