Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conceptualize and create original, trend-forward graphics, illustrations, and prints for all apparel and accessory categories.
- Develop highly detailed and accurate technical flat sketches and garment illustrations for use in tech packs and design presentations.
- Translate seasonal design concepts and creative direction into compelling mood boards, concept boards, and other visual presentation materials.
- Design and execute all-over prints (AOP), engineered prints, and placement graphics from initial concept through to final production-ready files.
- Manage the entire artwork development lifecycle, including creating multiple colorways, establishing print repeats, and preparing precise files for factory handoff.
- Collaborate closely with the Design, Merchandising, and Product Development teams to ensure all artwork aligns with the brand's aesthetic and commercial strategy.
- Conduct in-depth trend research on fashion, art, color, and graphics to inform and inspire the seasonal design direction.
- Digitize and render hand-drawn sketches and paintings using Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, and other relevant digital tools.
- Present artwork concepts and design rationale clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders, design leadership, and cross-functional partners.
- Revise and iterate on designs based on constructive feedback from design reviews, ensuring the timely completion of all project milestones.
- Prepare and specify detailed print packages with precise information on color standards (e.g., Pantone), scale, and printing techniques for overseas vendors.
- Illustrate stylized fashion figures (croquis) and finished garments to effectively visualize and communicate design ideas during development.
- Work on multiple projects concurrently, expertly managing timelines and prioritizing tasks to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Communicate directly with mills and factories to troubleshoot artwork-related production issues and ensure quality and execution standards are met.
- Create dynamic visual assets for internal line sheets, market lookbooks, and other crucial presentation materials.
- Develop original typography, logo treatments, and branding elements for use on apparel and related marketing collateral.
Secondary Functions
- Contribute to the conceptualization and development of seasonal color palettes.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing the digital library of all artwork, prints, design assets, and historical archives.
- Adapt existing artwork and graphics for different product types, special capsules, and specific market needs.
- Research and experiment with new illustration techniques, software, and applications to foster innovation and keep skills current.
- Participate in design fittings and product reviews to ensure the integrity of the artwork on the physical garment.
Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator for vector work and Photoshop for raster/textural work.
- Strong technical flat sketching and fashion illustration abilities, both by hand and digitally.
- Deep knowledge of textile design, including creating seamless repeats, color separation, and preparing files for various print techniques (screen, digital, etc.).
- Solid understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles within a fashion context.
- Experience with digital drawing tablets (e.g., Wacom) and familiarity with illustration software like Procreate.
- Foundational knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and their relationship to graphic and print application.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and create production-ready artwork that meets factory requirements.

Educational Background
Minimum Education:
