Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Manage the end-to-end production lifecycle for all fashion photoshoots (e-commerce, editorial, campaign) and video projects, from pre-production through to post-production and final asset delivery.
- Develop, manage, and meticulously track comprehensive budgets for each project, handling all negotiations, estimates, cost-sharing, and final expense reconciliation to ensure projects are delivered on-budget.
- Create and maintain detailed production schedules, call sheets, and project timelines, proactively identifying potential risks and creating contingency plans to ensure deadlines are met.
- Lead the sourcing, casting, negotiation, and booking of all creative and production talent, including photographers, directors, models, stylists, hair and makeup artists, and digital technicians.
- Oversee all aspects of model casting, including managing agency relationships, organizing casting sessions, and handling all contracts, usage rights, and releases.
- Scout, secure, and manage all logistics for shoot locations, whether in-studio or on-location, including permits, insurance, travel arrangements, and catering.
- Act as the primary on-set manager, overseeing the crew and talent, managing the shoot schedule, and proactively troubleshooting any issues to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive production environment.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Stylists, and other creative leads to understand the creative vision and ensure all production choices support the desired outcome.
- Manage complex travel and accommodation logistics for domestic and international productions, ensuring a seamless experience for all talent and crew.
- Coordinate the procurement and transportation of all necessary equipment, props, and wardrobe, working closely with studio managers and styling teams.
- Oversee the post-production workflow, including managing retouching notes, video editing timelines, and communication with retouchers and editors to ensure final assets meet brand standards.
- Negotiate usage rights and contracts for all talent, crew, music, and locations, ensuring full legal compliance and proper documentation for all produced assets.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between all internal departments (Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, E-commerce) and external vendors to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Manage the sample coordination process, working with merchandising and PR teams to ensure all required products are available, prepped, and tracked for the shoot.
- Develop and maintain a robust global network of high-quality creative talent, agents, vendors, and location resources.
- Drive the production of a high volume of creative assets simultaneously, expertly prioritizing tasks and resources across multiple concurrent projects.
- Prepare and present production plans, budgets, and post-project summaries to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Handle all production-related administrative tasks, including processing invoices, managing purchase orders, and reconciling credit card statements in a timely manner.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes and workflows to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the quality of our creative output.
- Stay current with industry trends, new talent, and emerging technologies in photography and video production to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the team.
