Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor upon their arrival, creating a positive and welcoming first impression.
  • Accurately take customer orders at the counter or drive-thru, utilizing a Point of Sale (POS) system to enter food and beverage selections.
  • Listen attentively to customer requests and special dietary needs, ensuring all orders are customized correctly and communicating modifications to the kitchen team.
  • Manage cash and credit card transactions with precision, processing payments, and providing correct change to customers.
  • Prepare and assemble a variety of food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and sides, adhering strictly to company recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment including fryers, grills, and ovens, following all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients, monitoring holding times and temperatures for food safety compliance.
  • Expedite and package orders for dine-in, takeout, and delivery, verifying the accuracy and completeness of each order before handing it to the customer.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including new promotions and limited-time offers, to effectively answer customer questions and make recommendations.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to a manager when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with team members across different stations (front counter, drive-thru, kitchen) to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during peak hours.
  • Uphold brand standards by presenting a professional and clean appearance, including wearing the proper uniform at all times.
  • Actively participate in up-selling and cross-selling menu items to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals.

Secondary Functions

  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment by regularly cleaning food preparation surfaces, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
  • Perform scheduled cleaning duties, which include sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and wiping down tables and counters in the dining area.
  • Restock food preparation stations, condiment stands, and beverage dispensers before, during, and after shifts to ensure supplies are always available.
  • Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, unloading deliveries, and properly storing food and paper products in designated areas.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper handwashing techniques and food handling procedures.
  • Support team members by assisting in other positions or with various tasks as needed to manage customer flow and operational demands.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new procedures, products, and company policies.
