Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Manage and oversee all day-to-day operations of the Amazon Seller Central account, focusing on the FBA model.
- Develop and execute comprehensive inventory forecasting models to prevent stockouts and minimize overstock situations, directly impacting our Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score.
- Create, monitor, and manage FBA shipment plans from our suppliers or 3PL partners to Amazon's fulfillment centers, ensuring 100% compliance with Amazon's strict packaging and shipping requirements.
- Proactively monitor account health, performance metrics (ODR, VTR, IPI), and feedback, swiftly addressing any policy violations or performance notifications to maintain a pristine account status.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to inform and implement listing optimization strategies for titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend search terms to improve organic search ranking and conversion rates.
- Manage and resolve all FBA-related issues, including stranded inventory, unfulfillable units, reimbursement claims, and lost inventory reconciliation by expertly navigating and managing cases with Amazon Seller Support.
- Analyze sales data, performance reports, and customer traffic to identify trends, uncover growth opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle on Amazon, from new product listing creation and launch strategies to managing mature product performance and end-of-life inventory clearance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align promotional calendars, manage Amazon coupons and deals, and ensure product listings are supported by effective advertising campaigns.
- Implement and maintain A+ Content and Brand Store pages, ensuring a cohesive and premium brand experience that drives customer engagement and sales.
- Systematically track inbound FBA shipments, troubleshoot receiving issues, and ensure inventory is checked in accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage the FBA removals and disposals process to efficiently handle aging or unsellable inventory, minimizing long-term storage fees.
- Stay relentlessly up-to-date with Amazon's ever-changing policies, platform updates, and new program releases (e.g., FBA Small and Light, Amazon Warehousing & Distribution) to ensure compliance and leverage new opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports on key metrics, including sales velocity, inventory turnover, profitability per SKU, and account health.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure a smooth flow of goods and accurate information exchange between internal systems and Amazon's platform.
- Optimize logistical pathways to reduce shipping costs, lead times, and overall operational friction associated with the FBA process.
- Monitor and respond to customer questions and product reviews on the platform, working to improve ratings and address any product or listing-related concerns.
- Execute strategies for expanding into new Amazon marketplaces (e.g., Canada, Mexico, EU) and managing the complexities of international FBA.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all FBA-related logistics, including communication with freight forwarders, 3PL providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Perform regular audits of product listings to ensure accuracy, compliance with category-specific guidelines, and overall content quality.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all key FBA tasks to ensure consistency and facilitate team training and growth.
