Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all field-based personnel, providing clear direction, support, and daily guidance on tasks and project objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed field schedules, work plans, and crew assignments to maximize efficiency and ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of all project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring timely arrival and departure from job sites.
- Enforce strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulations, leading daily safety briefings and investigating any incidents or near-misses.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify that work is performed according to project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Act as the central liaison between the field team, project management, clients, and subcontractors, facilitating clear communication to resolve issues and report progress.
- Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of all field equipment, tools, and consumable materials, coordinating procurement and replenishment as needed to prevent work stoppages.
- Troubleshoot and provide immediate on-site resolution for operational and logistical problems, demonstrating resourcefulness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing field activities, project progress, resource utilization, and any on-site challenges.
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings (e.g., toolbox talks) to outline the day's goals, assign tasks, and address any safety concerns with the entire field crew.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the timely delivery of materials and services, verifying order accuracy and quality upon receipt at the site.
- Facilitate on-the-job training and orientation for new field team members, ensuring they are well-versed in project procedures, safety protocols, and quality expectations.
- Monitor and report on subcontractor performance, ensuring their work aligns with contractual obligations, schedules, and project quality standards.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients and external stakeholders through responsive communication, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize project management software and other digital tools to track tasks, communicate updates, and maintain an organized record of all field-related documentation.
Secondary Functions
- Review and approve field staff timesheets, expense reports, and other administrative paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist the Project Manager in tracking field-related costs and budget adherence, identifying potential cost overruns and suggesting corrective actions.
- Gather and organize critical field data, including site photos, measurements, and test results, ensuring it is accurately recorded and accessible to the project team.
- Assess and document changes in project scope or site conditions, communicating potential impacts on schedule and budget to the project management team.
- Ensure all project closeout activities in the field are completed thoroughly, including final site clean-up, equipment return, and finalization of all required documentation.
- Participate in post-project review meetings to provide field-level feedback and contribute to a "lessons learned" repository for future projects.

Experience Requirements
