Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Proactively manage and maintain the Fifth Avenue Club Consultant's dynamic calendar, scheduling and confirming client appointments with meticulous attention to detail and time zones.
  • Prepare and organize curated merchandise assortments for client appointments, ensuring all items are pristine, correctly sized, and align with the client's documented profile and preferences.
  • Facilitate a flawless in-person client experience by impeccably setting up private fitting rooms with personalized touches, including preferred refreshments and amenities.
  • Actively assist during client styling sessions by swiftly retrieving alternative sizes, colors, and complementary items from the selling floor to ensure a seamless and efficient appointment.
  • Execute complex point-of-sale (POS) transactions with precision, including multi-tender payments, international shipping, returns, exchanges, and charge-sends.
  • Meticulously handle all post-appointment logistics, including expert gift wrapping, delicate packaging, and coordinating local courier services or complex international shipments.
  • Maintain consistent, polished, and professional communication with clients regarding appointment confirmations, order status updates, and follow-up inquiries via phone, email, and text.
  • Develop and diligently maintain comprehensive client profiles, meticulously documenting style preferences, purchase history, important dates (birthdays, anniversaries), and personal notes to enable hyper-personalized service.
  • Support the consultant in strategic client outreach and development, including preparing for trunk shows, private designer events, and targeted product launches.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and problem-solver for the consultant when they are with clients or out of the office, resolving issues with discretion, tact, and professionalism.
  • Build and foster robust relationships with brand specialists, department managers, and stock associates to guarantee priority access to new arrivals, limited inventory, and critical product information.
  • Efficiently manage the return-to-stock (RTS) process for all unpurchased merchandise from appointments, ensuring items are returned to the selling floor in a timely and organized fashion.
  • Coordinate with the in-house alterations and tailoring department to manage client fittings, meticulously track progress on custom work, and ensure timely completion and delivery.
  • Assist in sourcing and securing high-demand or hard-to-find items for top-tier clients by proactively liaising with other store locations, corporate buyers, and brand representatives.
  • Prepare and distribute personalized digital lookbooks or style boards to clients based on the consultant's direction to drive engagement, pre-sell new collections, and maintain client relationships.

Secondary Functions

  • Uphold the cleanliness, organization, and elevated aesthetic standards of the Fifth Avenue Club lounge, private suites, and all back-of-house support areas.
  • Manage the inventory of club operational supplies, including luxury packaging materials, branded stationery, and hospitality items, placing replenishment orders as needed to avoid disruption.
  • Provide key support for the planning and execution of exclusive Fifth Avenue Club events, from managing guest lists and RSVP tracking to providing on-site assistance.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on personal and team sales goals, appointment metrics, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as directed by management.
  • Handle a variety of administrative duties, such as processing expense reports, managing shipping and courier logs, and maintaining organized digital and physical filing systems for client records.
  • Consistently stay current with all new brand launches, seasonal fashion trends, and in-store marketing initiatives to provide knowledgeable support to both consultants and clients.
  • Partner with the Asset Protection team to ensure all high-value merchandise is handled, transferred, and tracked according to stringent company policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Proficiency in retail Point of Sale (POS) systems and complex transaction processing.
  • Strong computer literacy, including mastery of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and/or Google Workspace.
  • Experience utilizing Client Relationship Management (CRM) software to track client data, preferences, and interactions.
  • Deep knowledge of luxury fashion brands, designers, seasonal trends, and garment construction.
  • Familiarity with digital styling platforms or tools for creating lookbooks and style presentations.
  • Competence in inventory management systems and standard operating procedures for merchandise handling.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

Experience Requirements
