Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Lead the end-to-end preparation and filing of all external financial reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in compliance with SEC regulations.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation and closing processes for a multi-entity organization, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and statement of stockholders' equity.
- Author and review the Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) section and all financial statement footnotes with a high degree of precision.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and manage the relationship with external auditors, coordinating all aspects of quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
- Research, evaluate, and document the company's position on complex technical accounting issues, such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), and stock-based compensation (ASC 718).
- Monitor new accounting pronouncements from the FASB and SEC and lead the implementation of new standards across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls related to the financial reporting process, including maintaining and updating process documentation and supporting control testing.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of efficiency and internal control.
- Prepare and present financial reporting packages and technical accounting updates for the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and executive leadership.
- Manage the detailed XBRL tagging and review process for all SEC filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the financial reporting function to increase efficiency and reduce closing timelines.
- Mentor, train, and develop a team of financial accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, and Tax departments to ensure consistency in external communications and reporting.
- Prepare and review the earnings per share (EPS) calculation and supporting documentation.
- Manage the accounting and reporting for business combinations, goodwill, and intangible asset impairment analyses.
- Review and approve complex journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by the accounting team.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for the company's quarterly earnings release and investor presentations.
- Coordinate with international subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate reporting for consolidation purposes.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive and detailed financial reporting calendar to manage deliverables and stakeholder expectations.
- Lead special projects, including system implementations, M&A due diligence, and other accounting-related initiatives as they arise.
Secondary Functions

Educational Background
Minimum Education:

Typical Experience Range: 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Preferred:
