Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train a high-performing team of personal trainers and fitness coaches, ensuring they align with our brand's standards and methodology.
- Drive the financial performance of the fitness department, including personal training sales, package renewals, and supplementary service revenue, by setting and achieving ambitious sales goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive and engaging fitness programs, workshops, and challenges that enhance member engagement, retention, and overall club vibrancy.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide ongoing coaching and mentorship, and create personalized development plans to foster the professional growth of each fitness team member.
- Manage the daily operations of the fitness floor, including staff scheduling, floor coverage, and ensuring a clean, safe, and motivating environment for all members and staff.
- Act as the primary point of contact for member feedback, concerns, and inquiries related to fitness programming and personal training, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the administration of all personal training services, including client-trainer pairing, session tracking, payment processing, and new client onboarding consultations.
- Meticulously manage the fitness department's budget, including payroll, equipment purchasing, and operational expenses, to ensure profitability and resource efficiency.
- Lead weekly team meetings to communicate company updates, review sales performance, provide continuous education, and build a strong, cohesive team culture.
- Design and execute strategic outreach and marketing initiatives within the club to promote personal training services and drive new client acquisition.
- Ensure all fitness equipment is properly maintained, functional, and safe by conducting regular inspections and coordinating with maintenance staff or vendors for repairs.
