Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Supervise the full scope of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure seamless functionality and strict adherence to company standards.

- Monitor and rigorously enforce all food safety and sanitation regulations (e.g., HACCP, FIFO), conducting regular checks to guarantee a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Drive store sales and profitability by executing merchandising strategies, building impactful promotional displays, and training staff on upselling techniques aligned with company goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations, resolving issues with professionalism and empathy to ensure a positive shopping experience and build loyalty.
- Manage all cash handling procedures, including POS transactions, till reconciliation, and bank deposits, ensuring absolute accuracy and security.
- Conduct daily store walks and detailed inspections to assess overall store conditions, product presentation, and compliance with operational and visual merchandising standards.
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of performance management, including contributing to performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and administering disciplinary action when necessary.
- Ensure all store equipment (refrigeration units, ovens, POS systems, etc.) is properly maintained and in good working order, coordinating repairs promptly to prevent operational downtime.
- Champion loss prevention initiatives by actively monitoring for potential theft, promoting security awareness among staff, and ensuring strict adherence to all security protocols.
- Analyze daily and weekly sales reports to identify emerging trends, track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), and make data-informed operational adjustments.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between store staff and upper management through regular team meetings, daily huddles, and the transparent dissemination of company updates.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they receive comprehensive training on company policies, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records of store operations, including sales data, employee timekeeping, inventory adjustments, and incident reports for analysis and compliance.
