Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conduct in-depth, consultative interviews with prospective franchise candidates to fully understand their financial capabilities, professional background, lifestyle goals, and personal interests.
  • Guide qualified candidates through the entirety of the franchise discovery and investigation process, from initial contact to the signing of the franchise agreement.
  • Manage a robust pipeline of leads, meticulously tracking all interactions, milestones, and candidate progress within the company's CRM system.
  • Educate potential franchisees on the intricacies of franchising, including business models, operational requirements, and the legal framework of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
  • Present a curated selection of suitable franchise opportunities that align with the candidate's verified profile and investment parameters.
  • Facilitate introductory calls and ongoing communication between prospective franchisees and representatives from the franchisor's development team.
  • Coach candidates on how to effectively conduct due diligence, including validation calls with existing franchisees and FDD review.
  • Articulate the unique value proposition, competitive advantages, and financial performance representations of various franchise brands.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed established monthly and quarterly targets for new franchise agreements signed.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with a diverse portfolio of franchisors to stay informed of their evolving needs and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Assist candidates in navigating the franchise financing process by connecting them with a network of lenders and providing guidance on business plan preparation.
  • Skillfully manage candidate expectations and address complex questions or concerns throughout the multi-stage sales cycle.
  • Screen, pre-qualify, and interview potential franchise partners to ensure they meet the stringent financial and operational criteria set by franchisors.
  • Create and deliver compelling, high-impact presentations to individuals and groups regarding the benefits of franchise ownership and specific brand opportunities.
  • Negotiate franchise agreement terms where applicable and work collaboratively with all parties to ensure a smooth and timely closing process.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with wealth advisors, accountants, and attorneys to create a referral network for qualified franchise candidates.
  • Provide strategic advice to new or existing franchisors on refining their franchisee recruitment process and ideal candidate profile.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of "Discovery Day" events, where final-stage candidates visit the franchisor's headquarters.

  • Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) Analysis: Deep understanding of all 23 items within an FDD and the ability to explain them in simple terms.
  • CRM Software Proficiency: Expert-level use of CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or FranConnect for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to analyze financial statements, assess a candidate's net worth and liquidity, and evaluate business plans.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Proven ability to manage a high volume of leads through a long and complex sales funnel.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, PowerPoint for presentations, and Word for communications.
  • Sales Methodologies: Mastery of consultative or solution-based selling techniques.
