Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Manage the full-cycle franchise sales process, from initial lead generation and qualification through discovery, validation, and the final signing of the franchise agreement.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with prospective franchisees, guiding them through the comprehensive discovery process to ensure a strong mutual fit for long-term success.
- Conduct in-depth financial reviews and due diligence on franchisee candidates, assessing their financial qualifications, business acumen, and alignment with our brand's core values.
- Present the franchise opportunity compellingly to qualified candidates through webinars, one-on-one calls, and in-person Discovery Day events.
- Skillfully articulate the brand's value proposition, business model, and competitive advantages to differentiate us in the marketplace.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective lead generation strategies, including digital marketing campaigns, industry trade shows, and franchise broker networks.
- Maintain a meticulous and up-to-date record of all candidate interactions, pipeline stages, and communications within the company's CRM system (e.g., FranConnect, Salesforce).
- Expertly guide candidates through the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), ensuring they have a clear understanding of all legal and operational requirements.
- Facilitate validation calls between prospective franchisees and existing franchise owners to provide transparent insights into the business.
- Work closely with legal and finance departments to prepare and execute franchise agreements and related legal documentation.
- Provide initial onboarding support for new franchisees, ensuring a smooth transition from signing the agreement to the commencement of their formal training program.
- Analyze market data and demographic information to identify and prioritize territories for new franchise development and strategic expansion.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual franchise sales quotas and development targets set by the leadership team.
- Serve as an ongoing resource for franchisees, providing guidance on operational best practices, marketing strategies, and local store marketing initiatives.
- Monitor franchisee compliance with brand standards, operational procedures, and contractual obligations through regular check-ins and performance reviews.
- Conduct regular business review calls with franchisees to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identify challenges, and develop actionable improvement plans.
- Mediate and resolve issues or disputes that may arise between the franchisor and franchisees in a professional and constructive manner.
- Travel as needed to attend trade shows, meet with candidates, and provide on-site support for new franchise openings or struggling locations.
