Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Diligently process customer orders from receipt to shipment, ensuring all stages—including picking, packing, and shipping—are completed accurately and within established timeframes.
- Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) scanning devices to accurately locate and pick products from shelves, bins, and pallets as specified on digital or paper pick lists.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on all picked items, verifying product SKUs, quantities, and conditions against order details to minimize errors and uphold quality standards.
- Skillfully assemble shipping boxes and other packaging materials, selecting the appropriate size and type to ensure product integrity and safety during transit.
- Generate, print, and apply correct shipping labels and packing slips using integrated shipping software (e.g., ShipStation, FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip).
- Manage the customer returns process by receiving, inspecting, and processing returned merchandise (RMAs), documenting product condition, and updating inventory systems accordingly.
- Efficiently restock picking locations with inventory from bulk storage areas to ensure product availability and maintain a smooth and continuous fulfillment workflow.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system related to order status, inventory levels, and shipment information.
- Safely operate essential material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Consistently strive to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity and accuracy, such as orders picked per hour, shipping accuracy, and on-time fulfillment rates.
- Proactively communicate with team leads and supervisors regarding any order discrepancies, inventory shortages, or equipment malfunctions to facilitate rapid problem resolution.
- Follow established procedures for identifying, documenting, and segregating damaged goods or reporting inventory shortages to ensure accurate system data.
- Perform light assembly or kitting tasks, combining multiple SKUs into a single unit as per work orders to prepare special product bundles and promotions.
- Systematically sort incoming products and materials, placing them in their designated storage locations according to organizational standards and WMS directives.
- Provide support in the shipping and receiving area by assisting with the loading of outbound shipments and the unloading of inbound inventory from trucks and containers.
- Prepare and manage all necessary customs documentation and commercial invoices required for international shipments to ensure smooth and compliant customs clearance.
- Collaborate with the customer service department to address and resolve any special handling requests, order changes, or customer-specific issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track shipment details within carrier systems and the WMS, providing status updates when required and identifying potential delivery delays.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, procedures, and policies to maintain a secure, clean, and efficient warehouse environment for all team members.
- Participate in physical inventory counts, including cycle counts and full-year-end inventory, to help maintain the accuracy of the warehouse stock.

Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) Proficiency: Experience using WMS software to manage orders, inventory, and locations.
- RF Scanner Operation: Skilled in using handheld RF scanning devices for picking, put-away, and inventory tasks.
- Shipping Software Expertise: Familiarity with carrier platforms like UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or multi-carrier software like ShipStation.
