Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Interpret 2D and 3D seismic data to define structural frameworks, identify depositional systems, and characterize potential hydrocarbon reservoirs or geothermal resources.

- Analyze hydrogeological data to assess groundwater flow, contaminant transport, and the effectiveness of remediation systems, often utilizing groundwater modeling software.
- Provide geological support and real-time operational guidance for drilling programs, including well-site geology, geosteering, and post-drill analysis.
- Integrate diverse geological and geophysical datasets to create cohesive subsurface interpretations and reduce exploration or development risk.
- Characterize complex fractured reservoirs and unconventional plays using advanced geological techniques and data integration.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, maps, cross-sections, and presentations to communicate geological findings and recommendations to management and technical peers.
