Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively greet and engage with every customer, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and offering personalized assistance to understand their specific gifting needs.
- Develop and maintain an expert-level knowledge of all product lines, including features, benefits, origin stories, and care instructions, to effectively answer customer questions and build trust.

- Execute point-of-sale (POS) transactions with accuracy and efficiency, handling cash, credit card payments, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Promote and manage customer loyalty programs, clearly explaining the benefits and encouraging sign-ups to foster repeat business and build a dedicated client base.
- Provide premium gift-wrapping services, ensuring each package is presented beautifully and securely, adding a final touch of care to the customer's purchase.
- Maintain impeccable store presentation standards, including dusting, straightening, and restocking merchandise on the sales floor throughout the day.
- Assist in the execution of visual merchandising directives, including setting up new displays, arranging products attractively, and ensuring signage is current and correct.
- Actively manage and build a client book (clienteling), proactively communicating with regular customers about new arrivals, promotions, and special events.

Secondary Functions
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and processing new inventory shipments, verifying quantities and ensuring products are security-tagged and prepped for the sales floor.

- Support the fulfillment of online or phone orders, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment or in-store pickup.
