Primary Functions

Supervise, lead, and mentor a team of GIS analysts and technicians, managing daily workloads, setting performance goals, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
Direct the planning, development, and implementation of complex GIS projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the enterprise geodatabase environment, including ArcGIS SDE, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
Establish, document, and enforce GIS data standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all systems.
Manage the complete lifecycle of GIS software and hardware, including procurement, licensing, installation, configuration, and upgrades, particularly within the Esri ecosystem.
Provide advanced technical guidance and perform complex spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and data modeling to support critical business and operational questions.
Develop and produce high-quality cartographic products, including thematic maps, web maps, and interactive dashboards, to support planning, analysis, and executive-level decision-making.
