Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global operations strategy that aligns with the company's long-term growth objectives, market expansion plans, and profitability goals.
  • Spearhead the end-to-end global supply chain strategy, encompassing strategic sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and demand planning to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs.

  • Ensure rigorous compliance with all international trade laws, tariffs, customs regulations, and local legal requirements in every country of operation, mitigating risk and ensuring smooth cross-border transactions.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse, geographically dispersed team of operations leaders and professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance, and results-driven work environment.
  • Oversee the global manufacturing footprint or service delivery infrastructure, including site selection, capacity planning, facility management, and capital expenditure projects.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for global operations, providing transparent and actionable insights to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Forge and manage strategic relationships with key third-party logistics (3PL) providers, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and other external partners to build a resilient and agile operational ecosystem.

  • Financial Acumen: Mastery of P&L management, budget creation, financial modeling, and cost-benefit analysis specific to operational contexts.
  • Process Optimization Methodologies: Certified or expert-level knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement frameworks.
