Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Expertly operate a variety of specialized fabrication equipment, including industrial sewing machines, die-cutting presses, and automated dipping lines, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to operational guidelines.
Interpret and execute detailed work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications to produce gloves that meet precise design and quality standards.
Select, measure, and prepare raw materials such as leather, fabric, nitrile, latex, and synthetics, ensuring correct usage and minimizing waste.
Assemble multi-component gloves with exceptional precision, following a predetermined sequence of operations including stitching, bonding, and forming.
Perform continuous in-process quality checks at various stages of fabrication to identify and correct any deviations from quality standards immediately.
Monitor the performance and output of production machinery, making minor adjustments to settings to maintain consistency and quality throughout a production run.
Skillfully handle a diverse range of materials, understanding their unique properties and the specific techniques required for cutting, sewing, and forming each type.
Execute finishing processes with a high degree of care, including trimming excess threads and materials, cleaning finished products, and attaching branding or informational labels.
Conduct comprehensive final inspections of finished gloves, using visual and tactile methods to ensure they are free from defects in materials, stitching, and construction.
Consistently meet or exceed established production targets and deadlines without compromising the integrity or quality of the product.

Carefully package finished products according to specific client or company instructions, ensuring they are protected for shipping and storage.
Manage and replenish workstation inventory of components and materials to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted workflow.

Secondary Functions

Collaborate with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and communicate detailed information to facilitate prompt and effective repairs.
