Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Manage the daily opening and closing procedures for the golf shop, ensuring the facility is always presented in a professional and orderly manner.
- Greet and welcome all members and guests with a high level of professionalism, providing information and assistance to enhance their golf experience.
- Execute the point-of-sale (POS) system operations, accurately handling sales transactions, tee time check-ins, and member billing.
- Oversee the tee sheet management, ensuring proper player check-in, pace of play, and maximization of course utilization.
- Assist the Head Golf Professional in organizing, promoting, and executing club tournaments, leagues, and special golf events from start to finish.
- Provide fundamental golf instruction and support junior golf programs, group clinics, and individual lessons under the guidance of certified PGA professionals.

- Knowledge of golf swing fundamentals and the ability to articulate them for basic instruction.
- Experience with golf club fitting techniques and familiarity with launch monitor technologies (e.g., TrackMan, Foresight).
- Competence in basic club repair, including re-gripping, re-shafting, and loft/lie adjustments.
- Familiarity with inventory control and visual merchandising principles within a retail setting.
