Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Manage the Governor's complex and ever-changing daily schedule, strategically prioritizing appointments, meetings, and travel to align with key policy and political objectives.

- Coordinate all aspects of the Governor's travel, both domestic and international, including booking transportation, accommodations, and creating seamless, minute-by-minute itineraries.
- Accompany the Governor to meetings, events, and functions, providing on-the-ground support, taking detailed notes, and ensuring all logistical needs are met in real-time.
- Serve as a key liaison between the Governor's office and various stakeholders, including cabinet members, legislative leaders, federal officials, and community representatives.
- Facilitate the flow of information and documents to and from the Governor, ensuring timely review, signature, and distribution of sensitive and critical materials.
- Anticipate potential problems and proactively develop contingency plans for scheduling conflicts, travel disruptions, and other logistical challenges.
- Handle confidential and politically sensitive information with the utmost discretion and integrity, maintaining the trust of the Governor and senior staff.
- Draft, review, and edit a wide range of written communications on behalf of the Governor, including correspondence, memos, and official acknowledgments.
- Manage the "call time" process for political and fundraising activities, preparing lists, background information, and tracking follow-up actions.
- Provide comprehensive support for official events at the Governor's Residence, coordinating with household staff, caterers, and the events team to ensure flawless execution.

- Assist the communications team by providing logistical support for press conferences, media interviews, and public announcements.
- Oversee the management of the Governor's official contacts database, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle constituent casework that is escalated directly to the Governor, ensuring it is routed to the appropriate agency for a sensitive and timely response.
- Coordinate with the Governor's security detail to ensure all movements and events are secure and all protocols are followed.
- Manage the processing of the Governor's expenses, reimbursements, and other personal administrative tasks related to their official duties.
