Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Assist the senior design team in the conceptualization and execution of compelling visual assets for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, email newsletters, and web banners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content creators to ensure all visual materials strictly adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate project objectives.
  • Prepare, format, and package final design files for both digital and print production, ensuring all technical specifications and quality standards are meticulously met.
  • Create and adapt existing design assets for various formats and platforms, including resizing for social media, web, and international markets while maintaining design integrity.
  • Support the design and layout of long-form content such as e-books, whitepapers, case studies, and corporate reports, ensuring readability and visual appeal.
  • Perform essential image editing tasks including photo retouching, color correction, and composition to enhance the quality of our photographic assets.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual language across all presentation materials, including sales decks, internal communications, and webinar slides.
  • Actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas and visual research to help shape the direction of new projects.
  • Manage and organize our digital asset library, ensuring that logos, photos, templates, and completed projects are correctly tagged and archived for easy team access.
  • Design vector illustrations, icons, and infographics that simplify complex information and enhance our brand's visual storytelling.
  • Create simple motion graphics and animations for use in social media stories, digital ads, and website content to increase engagement.
  • Develop physical and digital mockups to effectively visualize design concepts for stakeholder presentations and internal review cycles.

Secondary Functions

  • Support the web design team by creating and optimizing graphics for the company website, focusing on fast load times, responsiveness, and user experience.
  • Assist in the production of video content, which may include basic video editing, creating lower thirds, adding graphic overlays, and designing compelling thumbnails.
  • Liaise with external vendors, such as printers and merchandise suppliers, to coordinate production and ensure the final product meets quality expectations.
  • Conduct ongoing research on design industry trends, competitor branding strategies, and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.
  • Participate in design critiques, providing thoughtful feedback and effectively incorporating constructive criticism from senior team members to refine your own work.
  • Help create and update design templates for recurring assets like social media posts, event flyers, and email headers to improve team efficiency.
  • Manage multiple design requests simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Provide general administrative support to the creative department as needed, including project tracking and scheduling.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Adobe Creative Suite Mastery: High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is essential.
  • UI/UX Software Familiarity: Experience with or a strong willingness to learn Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Presentation Design: Ability to create visually engaging presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.
  • Digital & Print Production: Solid understanding of file formats, color spaces (RGB/CMYK), and prepress requirements for both web and print.
  • Core Design Principles: A strong foundation in typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Motion Graphics Basics: Foundational knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro for creating simple animations and video edits is a major plus.
  • Digital Asset Management: Experience using cloud storage and DAM systems (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, Adobe Bridge) for organizing creative files.
