Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Oversee the entire group-wide financial consolidation process, ensuring the timely and accurate aggregation of financial data from all subsidiaries and business units for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of the consolidated group financial statements, ensuring full compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and all regulatory requirements.

  • Direct all aspects of technical accounting, providing expert guidance on complex transactions, new accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16, IFRS 9), and their practical impact on the group's financial statements.
  • Manage the group's treasury and cash flow functions, including multi-currency cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, foreign exchange risk mitigation, and strategic banking relationships.
  • Oversee all group tax compliance and strategic tax planning activities, coordinating with external advisors to optimize the group's effective tax rate and ensure full adherence to local and international tax legislation.
  • Develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performing group finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, professional growth, and collaborative success.
  • Drive the transformation and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes, identifying and championing opportunities for automation and efficiency to enhance the speed and quality of financial reporting.
  • Partner strategically with the FP&A team to provide critical historical data and technical accounting inputs for the group's budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes.
  • Prepare and present detailed, insightful financial reports, analysis, and commentary to the executive leadership team, Board of Directors, and Audit Committee, translating complex data into actionable business intelligence.
  • Manage the complex financial integration of newly acquired businesses, including leading purchase price allocation (PPA) exercises, aligning accounting policies, and integrating reporting systems seamlessly into the group structure.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely filing of all statutory accounts and regulatory returns for every legal entity within the group, navigating the complexities of various international jurisdictions.
  • Develop, document, and enforce group-wide accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency, best practices, and a unified approach to financial reporting across all subsidiaries.
  • Lead the financial due diligence process for potential mergers and acquisitions, providing critical analysis, risk assessment, and valuation support to inform strategic investment decisions.
  • Master and oversee all intercompany accounting processes, ensuring proper reconciliation, elimination, documentation, and settlement of transactions between group entities to maintain data integrity.
  • Manage the group's capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting and approval workflow, ensuring investments are properly tracked, accounted for, and aligned with budget and strategic objectives.
  • Liaise effectively with legal, HR, and operations departments to ensure financial processes are fully aligned with broader business activities, contracts, and compliance requirements.
  • Champion the implementation or major upgrade of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and consolidation tools (e.g., Hyperion HFM, OneStream), serving as the key finance stakeholder and business process owner.
  • Proactively monitor and manage the health of the group's balance sheet, ensuring all accounts are fully reconciled, substantiated on a timely basis, and reflect the true financial position of the company.

  • Group Consolidation Mastery: Proven mastery of complex consolidation techniques, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, goodwill and intangible asset accounting, and equity accounting for JVs and associates.
  • Financial Systems Proficiency: Advanced user of large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and specialist financial consolidation software (e.g., Hyperion HFM, OneStream, Tagetik).
  • Statutory Reporting & Compliance: Extensive experience in preparing and filing statutory accounts for multiple legal entities across different international jurisdictions, including familiarity with local GAAP requirements.
  • Tax & Treasury Management: A strong, practical understanding of corporate tax principles, transfer pricing documentation, and strategic cash flow and liquidity management techniques.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
