Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design and execute end-to-end A/B tests, multivariate experiments, and lift studies to optimize the entire user funnel.
  • Develop, prioritize, and maintain a high-velocity experimentation roadmap in close collaboration with product, marketing, and engineering teams.
  • Translate quantitative data and qualitative user insights into well-defined, testable hypotheses aimed at driving growth.
  • Create a range of design deliverables, from low-fidelity wireframes and user flows to interactive prototypes and high-fidelity visual designs for web and mobile platforms.
  • Rapidly iterate on design solutions based on experiment results, user feedback, analytics, and other performance data to continuously improve user experience.
  • Own the holistic user experience for key growth loops, including user onboarding, activation flows, referral programs, and monetization pathways.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation, technical feasibility, and accurate tracking of your designs and experiments.
  • Analyze and interpret complex experiment results, communicating key findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders across the company in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Conduct regular user research, including usability testing, surveys, and customer interviews, to uncover user pain points and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Craft persuasive and on-brand copy for landing pages, emails, in-app messages, CTAs, and other growth-related assets that drive user action.
  • Partner with the marketing team to design and optimize high-performing creative assets for various acquisition channels, such as landing pages, advertisements, and social media content.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, intellectual curiosity, and data-informed decision-making within the broader design and product organizations.
  • Systematically document experiment hypotheses, variations, and outcomes to build an institutional library of learnings and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rate, activation rate, churn, and customer lifetime value, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Meticulously design and refine user journeys to reduce friction, increase user delight, and boost long-term retention.
  • Work within and actively contribute to our existing design system, ensuring brand and UX consistency while knowing when to strategically deviate for a test.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices in growth design, conversion rate optimization (CRO), behavioral psychology, and product-led growth.
  • Develop and test personalized user experiences by leveraging user segmentation, behavioral data, and personalization platforms.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to define precise event tracking requirements for new features and experiments to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Present design concepts, experiment strategies, and results to leadership, clearly articulating the "why" behind your decisions and the business impact of your work.
  • Explore and validate new growth channels or potential product opportunities through the creation of rapid prototypes and minimum viable tests.
  • Take full ownership of design's role in optimizing the user experience across the entire AARRR (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue) framework.

Secondary Functions

  • Support ad-hoc data requests and perform exploratory data analysis to uncover new insights and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the company's overall growth strategy and product roadmap by providing a design and user-centric perspective.
  • Partner with product and engineering to translate growth hypotheses into clear technical requirements and event tracking specifications.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) within your cross-functional growth squad.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • High proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Proven experience with A/B testing and experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, LaunchDarkly).
  • Strong command of web and product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap).
  • Practical knowledge of qualitative research methods and tools (e.g., UserTesting.com, Hotjar, FullStory, user interviews).
  • Solid grasp of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles, statistical concepts, and testing methodologies.
  • Fundamental understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to assess feasibility and communicate effectively with developers.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
