Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, execute, and meticulously manage a comprehensive roadmap of growth experiments, leveraging A/B testing and multivariate testing to optimize the entire marketing funnel from awareness to advocacy.
  • Design and implement multi-channel customer acquisition strategies, including but not limited to paid search (SEM), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), content marketing, SEO, and affiliate marketing.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize campaign performance, focusing on key metrics such as Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Own the user activation and onboarding process, creating experiments and personalized user flows to improve initial user experience and time-to-value.
  • Formulate and execute customer retention strategies, utilizing email marketing, push notifications, in-app messaging, and loyalty programs to reduce churn and increase user engagement.
  • Identify and test new, unconventional, and emerging marketing channels to discover untapped opportunities for user acquisition and brand growth.
  • Manage and allocate a significant marketing budget effectively across various channels, ensuring optimal resource distribution based on performance data and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to embed growth loops and viral mechanics directly into the product, fostering product-led growth.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis of user behavior, market trends, and cohort performance to uncover actionable insights and inform future growth strategies.
  • Build and maintain detailed dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and effectively communicate growth initiative results to stakeholders.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of landing page optimization, working with design and development teams to improve conversion rates through iterative testing of copy, layout, and calls-to-action.
  • Develop and manage referral and affiliate programs to leverage the existing user base as a powerful acquisition channel.
  • Implement and manage marketing automation workflows using platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, or Customer.io to nurture leads and engage users at scale.
  • Conduct qualitative customer research through surveys, interviews, and feedback analysis to gain a deeper understanding of user motivations, pain points, and needs.
  • Drive SEO strategy by performing keyword research, optimizing on-page elements, and collaborating with content teams to build a strong organic presence.
