Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Architect and own the overarching growth marketing strategy, creating a detailed roadmap of initiatives designed to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of growth marketers, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Design, implement, and analyze a high-velocity experimentation framework (A/B testing, multivariate testing) across the entire customer lifecycle, from landing pages to in-app messaging.
- Oversee and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including but not limited to SEM, SEO, paid social, content marketing, email marketing, and affiliate programs.
- Manage the growth marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) like CAC, LTV, and payback period.
- Deeply analyze marketing performance data and user behavior funnels to uncover actionable insights, identify bottlenecks, and pinpoint new growth opportunities.
- Champion a data-driven culture within the marketing team and the broader organization, ensuring all decisions are backed by robust quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap, advocating for features and improvements that enhance user growth and engagement.
- Develop and refine user segmentation strategies to deliver personalized marketing communications and experiences that improve conversion and retention rates.
- Stay at the forefront of the growth marketing landscape, continuously researching emerging trends, new channels, and innovative tools to maintain a competitive edge.
- Establish and monitor comprehensive reporting dashboards and analytics systems to track performance against goals and communicate progress to senior leadership.
- Lead the strategy for referral and viral marketing programs, building loops that encourage existing users to attract new ones organically.
- Optimize the entire marketing technology stack, evaluating, implementing, and managing tools for automation, analytics, and campaign execution.
- Work with the Content team to guide a content strategy that supports SEO goals, drives top-of-funnel traffic, and positions the company as a thought leader.
- Define and manage the customer lifecycle marketing strategy, using email, push notifications, and in-app messages to guide users toward key activation and retention milestones.
- Partner with the Sales team to ensure a seamless lead handoff process and align marketing efforts with sales pipeline and revenue targets.
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify strategic advantages, weaknesses, and untapped opportunities for growth.
- Own the relationship with external marketing agencies and vendors, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable for performance.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy, covering on-page, off-page, and technical elements to drive sustainable organic traffic growth.
- Present regular, clear, and concise updates on growth initiatives, results, and future plans to the executive team and other key stakeholders.
