Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Perform in-depth client consultations to assess hair type, scalp condition, and lifestyle to recommend the most suitable and healthy braiding options.
Expertly execute a comprehensive range of braiding and twisting techniques, including but not limited to box braids, knotless braids, cornrows, feed-in braids, Senegalese twists, crochet styles, and faux locs.
Provide pre-styling services, including shampooing, deep conditioning, detangling, and blow-drying, to properly prepare the client's natural hair for braiding.
Apply precise, clean, and aesthetically pleasing parting to create a flawless foundation for all braided hairstyles.
Advise clients on proper at-home care and maintenance routines to maximize the longevity of their style and promote the health of their natural hair and scalp.
Build and maintain a loyal clientele through exceptional artistry, consistent results, and superior customer service.
Maintain a visually appealing and professional portfolio of your work, taking high-quality photos and videos for use on social media and other marketing channels.
Stay at the forefront of industry trends, continuously learning new techniques, styles, and product innovations to offer clients the latest looks.
